  • 1
Take silvering off of mirror by pouring small spots of nail polish remover on to back of mirror. Let sit for five minutes. Wipe down area with steel wool. Use sandpaper to refine the texture and shape of the remaining silver. Repeat if necessary. Smudge mirror with black paint, and gently blur with a washcloth.
  • 2
Lay Styrofoam wreath on top of black felt. Trace inside and outside of wreath onto the felt with a white fabric marker. Cut and adhere Styrofoam circle to black felt. Save the inside circle for later.
  • 3
Cut out 7-inch strips of white lace, and wrap around wreath. Adhere with hot glue. Use a low-temp hot glue to prevent the foam from melting. Dilute a few drops of black acrylic paint into a cup of water, then lightly paint layers of black onto the lace to give it a distressed look. Let dry.
  • 4
Paint embroidery hoop with black acrylic paint. Let dry.
  • 5
Glue wreath together starting with the foam circle, mirror (facing up), and then the embroidery hoop.Let dry. Glue small ivory pearls around the inside of the rim.
  • 6
Print out creepy image or photo and cut into a circle. Add a few strips of white lace onto the backside of the mirror with Mod Podge. Place the photo into the mirror and adhere with Mod Podge on both sides. Take the black felt circle you cut out earlier and glue inside of the wreath, behind the photo.
  • 7
Tie a large bow out of lace and tulle, and hot glue onto bottom center of wreath. Glue a large pearl on the center of the bow. Let dry.
  • 8
Starting at the bow, glue small black and white flowers up the sides of the wreath, hugging the embroidery hoop. Stop about halfway up. To adhere backing, wrap 24" of black wire around two greenery posts, and place posts into Styrofoam. Glue a large dot on top of each post, covering it entirely. Let dry.
