DecoArt® Spider Web Pot
Like the spiders on the web, you can snag another new use for Terra Cotta pots with this project. Make this one a centerpiece for your table.
Preparation: Clean surface with alcohol. Dry well with paper towel or soft cloth.
Pot: Use flat brush and Black Tie to paint entire pot (inside, outside, and bottom). Let dry. Apply second coat if needed.
Use White Americana Acrylic Writer to do web vertical lines. Connect lines with horizontal curved lines to form web. Let dry. With liner brush and Crystal Craft Twinkles, paint over each web line.
Use liner brush and Iris to script let me spin my web for you... and let dry.
Glue 6-7 Purple pom poms randomly over pot.
Cut six 2 inch chenille stems per each pom pon. Bend to form Z shape. Glue three on each side of pom pon for legs.
Glue two google eyes onto each pom pom.
Use flat brush and Crystal Craft Twinkles to paint entire rim. Let dry.
Saucer: Use flat brush and Black Tie to paint entire base, inside, outside and bottom. Let dry and apply second coat if needed.
Use liner brush and Iris to script come into my web on outer rim. With liner brush and Iris dot along top of rim.
On inside of bottom, paint web with liner brush and Cotton Ball. Let dry. With liner brush and Crystal Craft Twinkles, paint over Cotton Ball lines. Let dry.
