Using pliers, tightly twist two 18-inch long pieces of floral wire together. Repeat this with two other sets of wire. Attach all three strands of twisted wire together, and connect at both ends with pliers. Shape and mold the wire into a heart. Trim excess wire if necessary.

Create 30 pom-poms in various colors using the pom-pom maker. TIP: To create a multicolored pom-pom, wrap various colors of yarn around the pom-pom maker, and layer colors in to create splashes, stripes or blocks of different colors.
  • 3
Tie all pom-poms onto wire wreath. Make sure the pom-poms are placed on the inner and outer sides of the wire. TIP: If a pom-pom is loose, wrap around an adjacent pom-pom to secure in place.

Create a white pom-pom, making sure to wrap as much yarn around the maker as possible. Once assembled, carefully trim into the shape of a heart. Place and wrap onto the wreath, in the bottom left corner. Secure in place. TIP: If shaping into a heart is difficult, build up one half of each side of the pom-pom maker. This will help shape the heart once cut.
