Paint wood beads using desired chalk paint and let dry. TIP: Use the end of a paintbrush to hold bead while painting.
Wrap twine around cardboard square approximately 10 times.
Determine the length of your garland, then add 8 inches and cut. Place one end of the garland twine underneath the wrapped twine, pulling through and securing with a knot. Cut the other end of the wrapped twine to remove it from the cardboard. Incorporate the tail of the knotted twine into the other cut pieces for the tassel. Wrap and secure a piece of twine around all pieces to create tassel.
Thread beads onto twine.
Repeat steps for opposite end of garland.
