Feathers: Punch two 2’’" and two 1-½’"’ circles out of cardstock. Cut a 2"” x 12”" strip of printed cardstock, and punch a decorative edge into it. Score the strip at each inch mark and each 1/2”" mark. Flip over and score at each ¼”" and ¾”" marks. Fan it out, glue the ends together, and allow it to dry. Glue the large and small circles on the front and back to hold the shape.
  • 2
Body: Cut a small part of the decorative edge on the paper tail to make a flat bottom. Glue the paper tail to the back of a pine cone.
  • 3
Head: Paint the craft spoon and allow it to dry. Paint a turkey face on it and glue it to the front of the pine cone. Allow 1"” or so to extend below the cone.
  • 4
Dressing: Trim the spool with burlap ribbon, bakers twine, and the chalkboard tag. Glue a small amount of moss to the top of the spool, and then glue the turkey to the moss.
