About this Project
Things heat up when the sun goes down. Capture the beauty of the sunset with this simple stash-busting yarn hanging technique by the A.C. Moore Craftologists.
Create your own, snap a picture, and share using #ACMooreInspired
1Mix a little water with acrylic paint to create a wash for the frame. Paint and let dry.
2Cut each color of yarn into approximately 10" strips. Glue bunches of yarn at centerpoint to a dowel, until the entire dowel is covered. Repeat for each color.
3Flip frame face down. Glue yarn dowel to inside of the frame in reverse order. Glue dowels according to colors of the sunset. Be sure to give yourself plenty of overlapping space.
4Flip frame over and pull yarn forward so it hangs down.
5Trim excess yarn at different angles to create sunset.
