  • 1
•Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, and clean your hands in between each of the colors of this project.
•Preheat oven to 275F (130 C). Test temperature with oven thermometer for perfectly cured clay. Clay should be baked on an oven-proof surface at the 275F (130 C) for 30 minutes per 1/4 inch of thickness.
  • 2
Knead the clay together; use a rolling pin to achieve desired thickness. Before rolling, pat down the clay as evenly as possible.
  • 3
Cut out a shape using a circle cutter or a cookie cutter, and then remove any excess clay around the edges.
  • 4
Apply stamp designs onto the clay.
  • 5
Follow instructions for baking clay as indicated in step 1 and let cool.
  • 6
Paint in the imprints from stamp. Tip: Use a baby wipe to remove any excess paint.
