About this Project
Add vibrant colors to a DIY wreath for your home. Use an embroidery hoop to provide a sturdy, yet minimalist look to your creation, using floral from any of A.C. Moore's seasonal collections.
Create your own, snap a picture, and share using #ACMooreInspired.
Cut stems off flowers and greenery.
TIP: Choose one large focus flower and then smaller blooms to complement.
TIP: For a fall wreath, add pinecones and leaves.
2Optional: Paint embroidery hoop in the color of your choice and let dry.
3Arrange the flowers so they sit flush against the embroidery hoop. Attach smaller stems together with floral tape if needed.
Hot glue flowers to hoop, then fill in with greenery.
TIP:Balance your design using positive and negative space. For example, place flowers on just one third or one half of your wreath to create a sense of movement. Adding floral material all the way around will provide a more stationary focal point.
