  • 1

    Confetti New Year's Crown

    • Cut wire to approximately 25''. Twist the ends around to secure.

    • Pour confetti or sequins into a coffee filter.

    • Hot glue the outer rim of the wire in small sections. Before the glue dries, dip the part of the crown that has glue on it into the confetti or sequins. Continue until the entire crown is covered.

    • Finish by hot gluing the alpha chips in place.

  • 2

    Tulle Star New Year's Headband

    • Coat entire headband with Mod Podge and sprinkle with glitter. Shake off excess and let dry. Repeat if needed and coat again with Mod Podge.

    • Punch six paper stars and cut three 7'' strips of wire. With the wire cutters, curl the middle of the wires and hot glue two stars around the top of each wire.

    • Wrap the end of the wire around the headband to hold in place. TIP: To ensure the wire does not move, hot glue it around the headband.

    • Cut tulle into roughly 3'' x 3'' strips and hot glue around the stars on top of the headband.

Paper and Foam New Year's Headband

    • Coat entire headband with Mod Podge and sprinkle with glitter. Shake off excess and let dry. Repeat if needed and coat again with Mod Podge.

    • Trace base of foam onto paper and cut out the resulting circle. Tacky glue the circle to the base of the cone and let dry.

    • Punch both 5/8'' and 1'' circles. Tacky glue the circles to the cone until covered. Tacky glue crumpled tissue paper to bottom and top of cone as well.

    • Hot glue the base of the foam cone to the top of the headband and let dry.
