1/2" x 3" x 24" Basswood Plank, 5/16" x 5.5" x 12" Pine Board, Wood Letter Holder, Dremel or Wood Carving Set, Glue Gun Pad, Wood Glue, Sand Paper, Acrylic Paint, Paint Brushes, White Paint Pen, Painter's Tape, Hand Saw, Scissors, Ruler

    Download and print template.

    Use a hand saw to cut the basswood plank down to 3" x 5.5" for the glue gun stand. Sand edges.

    Carve a 1 1/4” x 1 1/8” notch into the stand, as shown on the template. Sand the opening smooth.

    Attach the wood letter holder to the 5 1/2" x 12" pine board with wood glue. Use painter's tape to secure until glue dries.

    Attach the glue gun stand to the pine board in line with the letter holder. Use painter’s tape to hold in place until glue dries.

    Paint station as desired. Use painter’s tape to section off geometric shapes for a color-blocking effect. Add details using a paint marker.

    Cut the glue gun pad to 6 3/4” x 5 1/4” to fit in front of letter holder.
