18.5x6.5" Wood Sign, Acrylic Paint, 5/8" Gold Ribbon, Paint Brushes, Transfer Paper, Chalkboard Clothespins, Chalk Marker, Scissors, Painter's Tape, Hot Glue

    Download and print template.

    Paint wood sign with dark blue acrylic paint and let dry.

    Cut stars from template and trace with pencil along bottom edge of sign. Stagger the stars so 12 can fit across. Paint in desired colors (rainbow colors shown).

    Use transfer paper to mark the words CLASS BIRTHDAYS along top of sign. Fill in transferred words with white acrylic paint.

    Use white acrylic paint to write the months in each star. (Use the provided months and transfer paper if desired).

    Cut 6 pieces of gold ribbon to 10 and 6 pieces to 9. Cut one end of each piece of ribbon to match the bottom of a star. Hot glue ribbon from bottom of star down to the edge of the sign. On the opposite end if the ribbon, create a "V" shape.

    Use ribbon to create two loops for hanging.

    Use a chalk marker to write the childs name and date of birthday on each clothespin and place on ribbon.
