Start with empty tissue and cracker boxes similar to the ones shown. Remove the center plastic and sand the box exteriors for better adhesion. You can either paint the boxes Turquoise (easier for kids) or glue on some Turquoise cardstock. If using cardstock, trim the excess away before continuing. Paint the inside of the tissue box Pink.

Punch out feature details, hearts, etc., from Turquoise and Pink cardstocks and glue onto boxes. Cut out ovals for ears from the cardstock and Fiskars template, as well as rectangle teeth from White craft foam and Fiskars template, then glue inside mouth opening.
  • 3
Hot glue the two boxes together for final assembly.
