  • 1
Use the metal scraper to cut chunks of clay in a variety of colors. Mold and soften clay by repeatedly rolling and working with hands. Roll clay into logs and place side-by-side.
  • 2
Twist logs of clay together, working colors into one another. Bend log of mixed clay into a "U" shape. Work shape into a ball. Repeat 3-4 more times. TIP: If colors become muddy, mix in another log of clay to break up color.
  • 3
Roll mixed clay flat, approximately 3/16th of an inch thick. TIP: If sheet is too thin, it will fall apart after baking.
  • 4
Cut out various shapes using circular or diamond cutters. TIP: Roll scraps to create more shapes.
  • 5
Use the ball-shaped stylus to pierce holes into the clay, where jump rings and jewelry findings will go. Place clay onto baking tray. Bake at 275 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool.
  • 6
Lightly sand any rough edges and wipe clean. Apply satin glaze. Let dry.
  • 7
Attach tassels and pom-poms to create jewelry.
