About this Project

Mix different media to create wall art!

  • 1
Project time does not include drying time for the paint.
  • 2
Use ruler and scissors to cut the desired amount of 3-1/2 inch squares from the Dark Hardwood Floor cardstock.
  • 3
Arrange the squares on a large piece of watercolor paper. Adhere squares with Mod Podge.
  • 4
Flip the watercolor paper over and cut off the pieces that come off the edge.
  • 5
Add Medium Yellow and Fresh Foliage paints to the watercolor paper.
  • 6
Cut several bird shapes from the cardstock within the Nostalgic Essentials package. Cut some frame shapes using the Midnight cardstock and Brackets/Journal template. Cut some flowers from the Large Roses cardstock (if you like, color the roses with the Red marker for a project with more color). Adhere the shapes to the watercolor paper with Mod Podge.
  • 7
Add desired saying with the Gold stickers (as shown, this is "Happiness" in the project).
  • 8
Add some doodling in desired shapes and locations with the Black and Neon Pink markers on the watercolor paper.
