    Basecoat the clay pot or pots three times and let dry. We used Snow (Titanium) White as our base.

    Stand clay pot next to your bowl or container and determine the level of where you want the ombre color to be. Fill the container with water up to that point. Add paint to the water and mix. Add enough paint so that the water looks like the color of the paint. Repeat with other clay pots and colors.

    Dip the clay pot into the water and use the heat tool to dry after every dip. Continue dipping the clay pot, shallower with each dip and allow to dry between dips. Dip a few times at the very bottom to get the most solid shade of color. Set on paper towel and let dry.
