Length: 64" excluding tassels
The wrap begins at the center and is worked down to one end. The yarn is re-joined to the foundation chain and work continues down to the other end.
Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 2 chs, * sk 2 chs, [dc 3, ch 2, dc 3] in next ch, sk 2 chs, dc in next 5 chs; rep from * to end, ending with dc in last 3 chs.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), sk first dc, dc next 2 dcs, * sk next 3 dcs, [dc 3, ch 2, dc 3] in ch-2 sp, sk next 3 dcs, dc in next 5 dcs; rep from * to end, ending with dc in last 3 dcs.
Rep Row 2 until piece measures 32”. Fasten off. Re-join yarn at beginning of foundation chain with sl st.
Working in unused loops of foundation ch and mirroring the stitches in Row 1, work as follows: Join yarn in 1st ch, ch 3 (counts as dc), sk first ch, dc in next 2 chs, * sk 2 chs, [dc 3, ch 2, dc 3] in next ch, sk 2 chs, dc in next 5 chs; rep from * to end, ending with dc in last 3 chs.
Rep Row 2, working same as first side, until same number of rows have been worked as for first side.
Weave in ends. Block gently.
Tassels make 14
For each tassel, cut 20 strands of yarn 12" long. Holding 20 strands together, fold in half. Use crochet hook to pull fold through ch-2 sp at one end of wrap, pass ends through loop of fold, and pull tight to make tassel. Rep in each ch-2 sp at both ends of wrap.
