    Prepare pan according to instructions and fill with 6 cups of batter. Bake and cool one 8" layer of cake and position on cake pedestal.

    Use Color Right base colors and QuickCount color formulas to tint White icing in the following shades:
    Blue: 2 cups icing + 50B + 8R + 8P
    Green: 2 cups icing + 2B

    Combine a 1/2 in. ball of tinted fondant with 1 oz. White fondant. Use fondant roller with Pink guide rings to roll out Ivory (Light Brown) fondant 1/16" thick. Spray Ivory fondant with Gold Color Mist food color spray. Let set about 15 minutes. Use narrow end of tip 7 to cut approximately 140 circles. Set aside confetti and reserve remaining fondant.

    Use Color Right base colors and QuickCount color formulas to tint White fondant in the following shades:
    Green: 4 oz. fondant + 1Y + 1B
    Brown: 1 oz. White fondant + 1BR

    Use tip 7, a cut disposable decorating bag, and Blue icing to pipe dot button in center of cake. Use a toothpick to mark message pattern on cake top. Use tip 4, a cut disposable decorating bag and Green icing to pipe message and arrow. Position confetti circles on corners of cake top, placing close together at corners and gradually farther apart toward center of cake.

    To make fondant tassel and cord, roll out green fondant 1/16 in. thick. Use a knife to cut a strip, 6 in. long x 4 in. wide. Cut slits 1/8 in. wide, leaving 3/4 in. uncut at top of strip. Roll up strip. For the knot, cut a strip, 1 in. long x 1/8 in. wide. Wrap around the top of the tassel. For band at top of tassel, roll out reserved ivory fondant 1/16 in. thick. Cut a strip, 1 1/2 in. long x 1/4 in. wide. Use damp brush to attach band to tassel. Place tassel on side of cake, with fringe resting on cake pedestal. For the cord, roll two logs, 4 in. long x 1/16 in. dia. Twist logs together and position on cake top from button to tassel.

    Cake serves about 20.
