  • 1
Print template onto the leather sheet with your Cricut Maker. Use a weeder tool to remove shapes and cut out holes for your jump rings and jewelry findings.
  • 2
Mix a 2:1 ratio of acrylic paint and the fabric painting medium.
  • 3
Apply the mixed paint to the leather in solid colors, bright patterns or other designs. Let dry.
  • 4
Affix the painted leather pieces together with glue. Let dry.
  • 5
Add jump rings to the upper hole in each leather shape. Connect lever backs, lobster clasps and more earring closures to the jump ring. Add extra pendants, beads and other jewelry findings as desired. Clamp loose ends together with pliers.
TIP: For this earring, we added a jump ring that connected the leather pieces, a round pendant and a gold rod together. The gold pendant is affixed with a fish hook wire that makes it easy to slip on.
