About this Project

The A.C. Moore Craftologists are feelin' groovy this Easter! We took inspiration from retro textured shag wall weavings and latch-hook techniques to make these fine and fringey, soft and satisfying fiber art eggs.

  • 1
Wrap yarn around ruler until desired size is achieved. Cut off end. Feed a small strand of yarn through one end of the wrapped yarn and create knot. This creates the top part of the tassel. Cut off the other end to remove from ruler. Repeat with all yarns.
  • 2
Hot glue yarn tassels to egg. Let dry.
  • 3
Trim tassels down to desired size. Leave some pieces longer to create shag.
