Dip chip paint brush into paint. Tip: Do not fully soak brush; dab off excess paint if necessary.
Paint in rough strokes leaving some of the wood showing below. Then add strokes of gray on top of the areas with exposed wood. Add another layer of white, leaving a little grey showing.
Download template and cut stencil vinyl using your die-cutting machine. Weed off excess vinyl and apply a strip of transfer tape. Transfer vinyl stencil to the plaque. Smooth out and remove transfer tape.
Apply a small amount of white chalk paint to the stencil. Let the paint dry completely, then remove stencil vinyl. TIP: Add white chalk to the board and smear with paper towel to give it a worn-in, chalky finish.
