More than 25 years ago, Heritage™ Series 4050 was Princeton’s first synthetic sable offered to artists. Heritage was developed for Princeton by master Japanese brush-maker Naohide Takamoto, the “Tak” in “taklon.” A perfect blend of golden taklon in multiple diameters, this synthetic brush enhances color-holding capacity and natural snap. These distinctive acrylic and watercolor brushes have a synthetic sable blend for excellent brushability and color-handling capacity. Liners come in a variety of lengths and belly shapes. They have very fine points and are often narrower than a round. Use a liner for delicate work, such as outlines, small details, lettering and long continuous lines.
