I tried to get in the fall/winter mood of jewelry design. Yesterday was sunny and 70 degrees. The sun and deck were calling my name just before starting dinner. It was a BeAuTiFuL day. I just couldn't get inspired by the fall color line. I pulled out the dolphin focal with pink and white seed beads. I just couldn't help myself. There may be a little hope for me yet. The remnants of hurricane Ida are suppose to be merging with a cooler system and changing up our weather to cooler temps and lots of rain over next few days.

I really enjoy making these up while catching a few minutes of tv here and there. I keep on going on my bead tray at all times. They make excellent travel projects as well. I've had two from the series listed in my Etsy shop for quite sometime. I'm not really pushing my Etsy stuff so I'm not getting any sales, which is fine. My reason for starting the store front was to give people a place to see my items. Whenever I'm out and about I'm asked about something I'm wearing. So hopefully as time goes by I'll stock my Etsy shop better and catch a few sales here and there. I may get up with some of our local up scale beach shops before the summer tourist season begins and strike a deal, or two. I've also sold a couple right off my neck while out and about. Many from this series, pictured in this part of the forum, I did for myself and have finished up similiar ones that are sellable, just not listed on Etsy yet. I guess I should get around to that soon. I have one heck of a inventory at the moment with this series.

Then you want to read the article about Etsy in the recent Readers Digest.
Once known for a brief time as Adele... Remember, Oh My is not God's first name nor is Da*m It God's last name.

Etsy is very competitive, especially with anything and everything beads and jewelry. You've got to work it, work it, work it. If you get a name for yourself it's a blessing.
