I may just hang up my teaching apron if cake orders keep rolling in. Today I am designing a 3 tier baby shower cake and making spice cake cakeballs with butterscotch pudding and vanilla candy coating...think I could start loving an at home bakery idea...will have to look into that possibility.

You can't quit. We love seeing the pics. They make me want to finally use the bags and tips I bought so many years ago and have never used. I keep telling the kids, you have a cke with frosting. Eat it ahd consider yourself lucky.

Oh I just meant teaching the classes. It gets tiresome after a while. The last few months have been great, but November and December are looking bleak. I only have enough students for one course in Nov. With all the prep that is barely worth my time. I love teaching, I love my students, but I hate not knowing month to month if I am working or not.

I can understand your frustration. I leaned many years ago working in the business world that nothing gets done between Thanksgiving and New Years. No hires, interviews, or plans except for those that have to do with the holidays. When everyone sees those cakes that everyone else is making, your students will be back in droves in January.
