Hi everyone! I wanted to start a postcard swap with a 'Fall/Thanksgiving' theme for November.

You will need to make one postcard using stamps (or digital images) relating to Fall or Thanksgiving and will receive one from another Postcard Swapper in exchange. On the closing day of this post I will draw names to see who is sending to whom and post that list.

I will close the sign up on November 10th and your postcard should be mailed by November 15th.

Reply to this thread to indicate that you want to play.

Postcards should be 3-4 by 5-6 inches (max 4.25" by 6") and made from heavy duty card stock so that it does not get eaten by the postal machines. Postcard stamps are currently 28 cents.

So everyone will be making 1 (one) postcard only and receiving 1 (one) so this is a really easy swap!

These are postcards and as such part of the fun of collecting them is the post office cancellation marks, etc. Time to to let go a bit and learn to send your "masterpieces" off as is, so NO ENVELOPES (or protective coverings).

All right, who's playing?

1. Piggy30
2. scrap4you
3. elayne
4. fuzzylover
5. Bluucaca
6. Frndly1
7. Hobbyaholic
8. Blue Button
9. Squeakbox

I kept sticking the "forever" stamps on my postcards since that was what I had - I finally went and got some "postcard" stamps.

Postcards stamps are only 28 cents - and here I was putting 44 cents on them d'oh

I'll save my postage money for the swaps - LOL

lol @ Scrap4you, I was referring to a rubber stamp. But that is a good ideal to go and buy some postcard stamps. There is no reason the PO should ask for another increase. They are making money hand over fist with us crafters and our swaps. lol
