So I am making the chocolate cake on the back of Hershey's cocoa. At the end, the batter is very thin as you add a cup of hot water. It is all mixed and I reach for the shut off. Only I turned it opposite and on high. More batter of the floor, counters, me, and anywhere else it landed. What was left went into the oven. Then The Pirate said as I was taking it out of the oven, "Doesn't it bake better in the oven than on the floor?" The urge to kill is so strong today.

I don't know who The Pirate is, but it sounds like he needs to walk The Plank. Arrrrrrrrrrrr! The worst part of those episodes is always the cleanup. One year later I'm still finding micro-mini splatters on my kitchen walls from an incident. Being diabetic, I won't be eating any of it. But wouldn't you know it. The Pirate has a sore throat and couldn't even finish the small piece he cut. But I am sure that cake will be an incentive for his throat to heal fast.

I love how you tell a story, Addie. Only you can make batter all over the kitchen, funny. :-)

And the definitive words are "all over." I have a galley kitchen and the batter managed to reach from one end to the other. So much joy in my life.

He does have a great sense of humor. That is the only thing that supresses my urge to kill some days. I am too busy laughing.
