Hi Ladies, I wasn't sure where to post this.

Does anyone have a glue that actually dries clear? I'm not too concerned about it for making cards/scrapbkkg, but when I quill, those little slips of paper always seem to show up with the glue marks, I 've used several kinds. any suggestions?

Hi elayne. When I read your post, my first thought was Glossy Accents. Tim Holtz uses it. It's a Ranger product...and I'm pretty sure ACMoore sells it. The bottle it comes in has a nice thin tip that would be great for those quilling projects you've got going on! Aleenes Tacky Glue also dries clear, but the tip isn't as precise as the Glossy Accents. Hope that helps!

Peace

Haven't tried Zip Dry (yet), I just used my zig pen the one like a ball point pen. so far so good. I haven't noticed any stains yet.

I have seen some use a wire with aleene's or other white glue's that dry clear.

Thanks for the tips.

Rett, I tried Aleene's tacky glue, but its a little messy to work with, it did dry clear but left a shine, I'll check out Glossy Accents, haven't tried that.

Hobby, never heard of a zig pen, that sounds more like what would work on those quilling papers.

Piggy..I have a quick drying glue, not Zip Dry so I'll look into that one.

I appreciate the responses, its a real pain when I'm done quilling all of those papers and then I see the glue spots...yuck.
pretty soon I'll own every glue made...lol...

The glossy accent dries shiny, elayne. I didn't know that you didn't want any shine.

I have a glue pen, like Hobby....it's got a ball point tip. The pen is called "Quickie Glue" and the company that makes it is Sakura. It cost me about $3. at my local scrapbook store. I don't know if it'll hold your paper quilling or not. I use it for glitter.
