Wish me luck that I don't make a big huge mess. I really need a break from scrapping and all my swap stuff. I think a new technique would do me justice. Anyone else stamped with bleach?

I haven't tried it yet, splitcoast stampers has some tuts on it and a gallery of pics that were beautiful. Post is when you're done, maybe you'll inspire me to try another technique, I'm kinda in a rut too.

I've tried it. Please make sure you dilute the bleach. It has a neat effect.

I've done it - I didn't dilute the bleach. I took a couple of paper towels and folded them to fit in a dish. I poured just enough bleach to wet the towels good, but not to soak them. To much bleach on your stamp and you'll get a washed out mushy image, to little and you don't get enough contrast. I played a bit till I got it looking the way I liked. On this one, I bleach stamped the background of the ATC on the card.

Dilluting it will give it a different affect. We will not talk about the smell. lol Hobby, how is your bleaching going?

Hobby, how is your bleaching going? Yes, the smell is something else - but try the softer scented bleaches - they really do make a difference. I did another card with bleach stamping - if you were in the October swap, you should be getting one. You'll be able to see it first hand. I didn't want to post a picture till they were sent out - I love surprises.

I just saw another fabulous bleach technique - I am definitely going to try it this weekend. I'll post some pictures when I'm done. Here's a link to the video - check it out. http://www.clubscrapcommunity.com/main-inspiration/cinema?task=videodirectlink&id=191&utm_source=Club+Scrap+E-news&utm_campaign=36fbec05e0-Cameo_Card_Vid11_18_2009&utm_medium=email
