As an avid new iris folding aficionado, I had become a regular at the Circle of Crafters forum. For the past week, I have not been able to get on the site. Sometimes when I try to go there, I get a warning that there is a malware danger associated with it. Usually I get an error message saying that the link is broken. Another friend here also has been unable to access CoC.

Does anybody here know what's going on? I really miss all those inspirational ideas and patterns.

Me too, I go over there constantly for some new inspirtaion, maybe they had a virus and are getting it fixed. surely they wouldn't not have it, they have sooooooooo many members.

I'll keep checking back and see if they're not up again soon.

Thanks for all your responses. I'm glad to hear that it's not just a glitch in my security software that's blocking me from the forum. I also can bring up the instructional pages and patterns, but I miss being able to access all the forum members' patterns that are not on the main site. Actually, when I've googled Circle of Crafters, under every listing it says, "This site may harm your computer." I don't know who runs the site, but I sure hope they fix it.

Oh I never had that come up
'this might hurt your site'....I've been going there for a long time so I'm not too worried. Hopefully they'll fix it fast, I miss the forums too.

Maybe a hacker infiltrated the site itself...and took it down.

Well I've tried several times and still no COC and man do I miss it. Hav sent email to a member and waiting for reply but seems something is amiss. I keep getting a different arts and crafts site and as you guys the usual COC showing up in google as this site may harm your computer. Therebang head here would be a lot of people affected by this as its a great site and has a very active social room which i dearly miss. If any COC members read this kiwioz is thinking of you all and hope to chat soon.

Hi Frnkly & elayne, thanks for the reply, ive managed to contact the admin and yes there is one big problem with COC, apparantly someone or whoever in Russia who has gotten to the site and trying to hijack the message board and forum and re-directing it to inapproppriate sites so had to close down, hopefully up in a week or so. The admin gave me a link to go to so you will just have to try and see if you can login. Try www.cocmessageboard.com if that doesnt work keep trying but then again no guarantees. Its proved to be a big problem apparantly.
Hope this helps, I have yet been unable to log in but then I think my computer has actually been affected with something as I have to keep re-booting and restarting after restoring, geez wanders will never cease aye. Meantime I will check out this site and see what all are up to.
Regards to all
Kiwioz

To Dawn Macavity -- I've been trying to find you on Facebook -- to learn what happened to Circle of Crafters. Someone posted that the downloadable printables are still there but I can't find them. I'm looking for the Geisha 3-D card. It was in the cardmaking files.

Can anyone help me?

Has anyone found circle of crafters? I've tried accessing their message board but it's not there. I've tried finding Dawn Macavity on FB to no avail. Any clues?
