About 2 weeks ago my Pastor's wife came and asked me to make a cake for a reception at church. It needed to serve 100 people. Stars were the theme. I can do that. So the wheels started churning and I dreamed up all sorts of elaborate plans. But in the end I went with a simple 4 tier cake with ribbon trim and a fiber optic silver star topper.

I will post pictures tomorrow. Right now I am TIRED...

Making a cake is not exactly the easiest job. And when it has to be special, then the emotional drain is just added. Lookiing forward to the pics.

Sounds like you have a future in a new business venture. Do I see a store front call Creative Cakes?

Thanks, it is. No $$ now for a store I will just have a home bakery for the time being...

Several days planning 1 day baking and done decorating. Thankfully I was able to use my church kitchen, they have 2 ovens!
