I order some viynl off the computer for the Cricut
This is totally new to me
Does it cut the same as paper
Do I use the deeper cut with the blade
I use 3 for the settings
Help

That's a great question! I've never cut vinyl before, but I'd say use a higher pressure setting and turn your blade depth. I'm not sure if you would need the deep cut blade for that.

OOh, I don't know how to cut vinyl but it would be nice to see what you do.

Or you could try www.cricut.com they have a lot of talented people on that board and I even think they may have a forum just for vinyl. I'm sure someone there could help you, too.

Cricut Dan recommends the deep cut blade because of the angle of the blade. Lots of people cut vinyl with the regular blade with no problems.

I've cut vinyl many times with the regular blade with the settings all around medium. Its not thick so I don't know why the deep cut blade would be recommended?? Its so much fun and adds another dimension to the cricut.

I use my regular blade to cut vinyl too. Cricut Dan reccomends the deep blade because of the angle. Says it's easier to get the "kiss" cut so your protective backing sheet isn't cut, just the vinyl.
